Craig S. Hewes, PLS

Craig a support engineer and system integrator in the Engineered Solutions group at Leica Geosystems Inc. He is a licensed land surveyor in New York and Pennsylvania. He has an associate degree in Civil Engineering and has worked in the surveying and engineering professions since 1989. As a manager in an engineering firm, he was involved with geodetic control, structural monitoring, boundary, right-of-way, and topographic and aerial surveying projects. In the Leica Geosystems Engineered Solutions group, he is involved with the design and implementation of automated structural monitoring and core wall high rise systems. Some of these systems include the following: 432 Park Avenue, New York, NY; West Point; NMAAHC – Smithsonian; Bluestone Dam; Tappan Zee Bridge; Bayone Bridge; World Trade Center One – New York City; Auto Route 30 – Montreal, Quebec; Carlingview Drive Grade Separation, GoTransit – Toronto, Ontario; Second Avenue Subway – New York City; Hoover Dam Bypass US Route 93 – Colorado River; open pit mining throughout the US and Canada.
