Video: Keep Building Construction Projects on Track with At-a-Glance Deviation Reporting

In a perfect world, every built structure and surface would match the design model flawlessly. In the real world, deviations are unavoidable. You need a way to quickly see and correct those deviations before schedule-busting errors are made on the jobsite.

Leica Cyclone 3DR software provides a streamlined, efficient process to align, clean, and inspect design models compared to as-built point clouds captured with laser scanning. With only a few clicks, you can align a point cloud to a design model, clean the point cloud by using the “separate by distance” feature, and then generate a heat map that shows deviations between the as-built environment and the design. At the touch of a button, you can generate reports so the key stakeholders can determine the best way to resolve issues.

Watch the video to learn how easy it can be to gain new insight on your construction projects.
